Isabel waspie

This is my first piece of corsetry. I chose the Isabel because it’s beautiful, but also because I wanted something in the underbust style. At the time, I didn’t realize it was possible for Angela to customize the fit of her overbust styles to accomodate a larger bust. If you’re unsure, email her! She’s so friendly and helpful.
The brocade is my favorite part of this piece— it’s shinier in person that it appears in the photo. It is thicker/more stiff than the marigold brocade, for reference.
Also the bow is a different pink than the almond pink ruffle, middle piece, and edging in person, though they look very similar in the photograph.
Lacing the waspie alone is a bit difficult to figure out, but Angela has a very helpful demo video that explains it.
Once on, it’s very comfortable. I went with a large (31.5” waist, 40” hips) and am able to lace closed, though I tend to wear it with a small gap to protect my spine. It feels like a hug. Makes bending over a tad difficult, and forces me to have good posture when I sit! I haven’t yet tried it as an outerwear piece, but it’s lovely under dresses or as an additional garment for wowing a partner or making yourself feel luxe in the boudoir!
All in all, five stars. I highly recommend the Isabel waspie!
