Shipping and tax updates for US customers

Recent changes in US trade policy have brought an end to the “de minimis” exemption, which previously allowed international orders under $800 to enter the country duty-free. As of August 29, 2025, all imports to the United States, regardless of value, are now subject to customs duties, tariffs, and taxes.
We have now fully updated our pricing and shipping methods so that your orders will continue to arrive without any unexpected fees or delays.
What's new for US customers
Beginning in late August 2025, all displayed prices on our website for US orders are now tax-inclusive. The price you see at checkout is the final amount you will pay, with no hidden costs or fees due later. We now ship to the USA exclusively using a “Delivery Duty Paid” (DDP) system, which allows us to pre-pay all customs charges on your behalf. Your order will arrive without any surprise bills, extra payments, or customs delays at the border, just as before these changes were enacted.
Shipping options restored
After a brief interruption, the Royal Mail and USPS have reinstated their international service to the United States. You can once again choose from 2 shipping methods at checkout:
- Standard shipping with USPS, which takes 5-10 days to the USA
- Express shipping with UPS Express, which takes 2-5 days to the USA
US customers are also eligible for free shipping on orders over £250 (~$335 USD), applied automatically at checkout. Whichever shipping method you select, there will be no additional customs duties or import taxes due on delivery. All taxes are included in the prices shown on our website, and we handle all customs paperwork in advance.
What this means for you
These changes apply only to shipments bound for the United States, and customers in other countries are not affected. Please also keep in mind that these taxes and fees are not set by us, but they are required by (and payable to) the US government. By collecting them up front for you, we're able to make your delivery faster and more reliable.
